The Planning Commission meetings are normally scheduled the 4th Tuesday of every month, but if there are no agenda items submitted to the Township, no Planning Commission meeting will be held.

When is the deadline for Submittal of Plans to the Planning Commission?

All plans submitted to be on the Planning Commission agenda must be submitted at least 30 days before the normally scheduled meeting (4th Tuesday of each month).

How many plans should be submitted for Planning Commission review?

15 sets of plans need to be submitted for review of all subdivisions and land developments. Out of those 15 plans, one plan MUST be signed by the property owner and notarized.

What should I do if I want to subdivide my parcel into multiple lots?

Seek the counsel of a qualified civil engineer.

How long will it take from the time I submit a subdivision or land development application to the time it is approved?

This is an extremely difficult question to answer. The best answer is that your project will be reviewed and acted upon within the statutory requirements of the North Whitehall Township Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance and the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.
