Kolapechka Park Parking Lot
The Kolapechka Park Parking lot will be closed for seal-coating and line painting from July 24-28. This process will take a few days and may cause some disruptions for park users. We courage park users to utilize the Levans Park parking lot for access to the walking trails and other amenities at Kolapechka Park. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

LCA Road Work
Road repair work will be taking place on Schneck Rd., Mohawk Dr., and Shawnee Ct. starting the week of July 8th. Crews working for LCA will be in these areas to restore the asphalt road surface as part of the water main project.

Kernsville Road over Jordan Creek
PennDOT is implementing a long-term closure of State Route 4003, Kernsville Road, over the Jordan Creek. PennDOT is currently completing a utility relocation and overhead wire protection to prepare for the replacement of the bridge, and this project is expected to be completed by the end of March. The long-term closure for the replacement of the bridge will begin on May 1, 2024, and is expected to be completed by August 26, 2024.

Throughout this timeframe, the portion of Kernsville Road that is impacted will be off-limits to all forms of traffic, including pedestrian traffic. Alternate routes will be designated and signage will be posted to guide commuters, ensuring minimal disturbance to the surrounding community.

The posted detour for Kernsville Road will take drivers down Route 309, to Tilghman Street, to Route 100, and lead back to Kernsville Road.

2024 Road Resurfacing
The following roads will be resurfaced in 2024 starting on June 14th:

Caitlynn Dr.

Ashley Dr.

Amanda Dr.

Queens Dr.

Victoria Way

Jordan Rd.

Informational door hangers will be placed on the homes that will be affected along these roads. Please contact the Director of Public Works, Rick Holtzman, with any questions.
